Thanks for posting this. I plan on going to France this summer on a driving holiday but what I found is that there are a number of things that you need to organize before your trip there. For example, your car breaking down on the motorway in France can lead you to being fined so I am organizing comprehensive breakdown insurance for my trip. Also, French law requires you to carry on board the car a self-test breathalyser. Best to prepare in advance for these trips!
